I’m Alex Hafen, an industrial designer focused on furniture, home goods, and material-driven design that balances functionality, comfort, and emotional connection. With a background in Industrial Design from Rochester Institute of Technology and studies in museum studies and crafts/materials, I approach design through both a practical and narrative lens, with a particular interest in working with glass, wood, and textiles. Influenced in part by my Swiss heritage, I’m drawn to clean forms, modularity, material honesty, and thoughtful craftsmanship.
